Some people prefer to share their concerns with someone who has been there. There is a self-help group called Gamblers Anonymous that runs a bit like Alcoholics Anonymous. There are meetings every day of the week across Australia.

Another option some people use is to ban themselves from a Venue. This is called self-exclusion. For more information go to Self-exclusion program.

These services can be used together or separately depending on personal preference. It can be helpful to consider what would work best for you.
