Gambling Help Services provide free, confidential support and assistance to people affected by problem gambling. Assistance provided by Gambling Help Services includes:

  • Professional, confidential gambling counselling for people who have a gambling issue
  • Counselling for the family and friends of people who have a gambling issue
  • Financial counselling to help people with gambling related money problems

Anyone affected by problem gambling (your own or someone else's) can call the Gambling Helpline 24 hours, 7 days a week on 1800 858 858. This service provides counselling, information, contact details and referral for the nearest Gambling Help Service in your locality or another service away from where you live if you would prefer this. Calls to the Helpline are free and won't be listed on your phone bill.

  • Self-exclusion

    Self-exclusion is a gambling industry based program which allows individuals with a gambling problem to undertake a process to ban themselves from the gaming areas of nominated hotels, clubs and the casino.
