Amity provides free, confidential counselling, support and information to people affected by gambling. Services are free and confidential.
If English is not your first language, support is available for culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
If you want the free, confidential advice and support provided by Amity but want talk to someone in your first language, you can still get the help you need:
- Call Translation and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 131 450.
- Ask to talk to Amity Community Services on 1800 858 858 in your language.
- TIS will call Amity for you.
Calls to TIS cost the same as local calls from landlines. Additional charges apply for mobiles.

- understand your motivations to gamble
- apply strategies for coping with the urge to gamble
- assist you through the process of behaviour change

Multi-venue self-exclusion is available throughout the Territory to assist with managing your gambling in physical venues. If you would like to self-exclude from one or many venues this can be done in a venue or through a registered counselling service.
Self-Exclusion options also exist for excluding yourself from online sports bookmakers or betting exchange operators.
