You can access telephone counselling by calling Telephone Interpreter Service (TIS) on 131 450.

The interpreter can access information from our website and translate it for you or be on the phone with you during your counselling session to help you and the counsellor communicate.

Alternatively you can call the Helpline on 1800 858 858 and ask the counsellor to organise an interpreter through the Telephone Interpreter Service – you may need someone to assist you with explaining which language you need translating.

There are also a number of gambling support services available, that provide specialised counselling to people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, or who would like to access help using a language other than English.

Some gambling services employ multi-lingual gambling counsellors from various culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and can provide counselling services in languages other than English.

These help services aim to provide support, information and referral to all clients and significant others in a culturally sensitive manner.
